How this site is made
Editorial Standards
Every page here concerns one product range. Specifications come from the manufacturer documentation and the current product listings. Guidance on airline rules is written from published carrier policies, and is always framed as something to verify rather than rely on. No testimonial on this site is invented and no rating is manufactured.
Where the information comes from
- Specifications — the manufacturer's own product documentation and the current listing for each ASIN. Where the two disagree, the listing is treated as authoritative and the discrepancy is noted.
- Airline allowances — published carrier policies. These change without notice and differ by route and fare, so every figure on this site is presented as typical rather than guaranteed, with a reminder to check.
- Care and troubleshooting — manufacturer instructions, extended with the failure modes that recur in owner reports.
- Category explanation in the guides — how the technology works generally, written so it stays accurate as specific models change.
What this site will not do
- Publish prices. Retail prices change constantly and a stale figure is worse than none. The Check Price button opens the live listing instead.
- Invent testimonials. There are no named reviewers with stock photographs on this site, and there will not be.
- Publish ratings as structured data. Self-serving review markup is treated accordingly by search engines, so no rating is emitted.
- Overstate what compression does. It reduces volume and not weight, and it does almost nothing for dense items. Both statements appear on the pages that sell the compression models.
Corrections
Anything factually wrong here will be corrected. Send the page address and what is wrong to [email protected]. Pages carry a visible review date and that date changes when the content does.
