About VGCUB

VGCUB is a travel-luggage brand with a deliberately narrow line of travel backpacks, several of them built around a vacuum compression system. This site is the brand's information resource for that range, operated from Springfield, Missouri.

What VGCUB builds

One category and a single organising idea: cabin baggage allowances are the constraint that matters, and the way to work inside them is to remove the air rather than the contents. Several models carry a sealed compression compartment and a hand pump. Others exist because not every trip is a flight — a 30-litre carry-on that opens flat, and a 24-litre daypack light enough to carry every day.

The design decisions follow from that. A trolley sleeve on the travel models, because the backpack usually travels alongside a case. A 15.6-inch laptop layer in every bag, against the back panel where the weight belongs. A separate compartment for compression, so a flattened coat never presses against a laptop.

What VGCUB does not build

Stating this plainly is more useful than marketing around it. There is no 17-inch laptop compartment on any of these bags. Nothing shown here goes above 40 litres, because larger bags stop clearing cabin allowances and these are built for cabin travel. Nothing here is waterproof — the fabric is water-resistant, which covers rain and spills and not submersion. And compression reduces volume only; anyone shopping against a weight limit gains nothing from it.

How this site is run

Every page concerns one product line. Specifications come from the manufacturer documentation and the current product listings. The guides cover the mechanics of the category — how airlines measure, what compression saves, how many litres a trip needs — written so they stay accurate as individual models change. Prices are never published, because they change faster than any page can be maintained.

Every page on this site is listed on the sitemap, and the sources behind the content are set out in the editorial standards.
