VGCUB Vacuum Backpack with Pump, Khaki
This VGCUB vacuum backpack pairs the range's compression system with a separate shoe compartment lined in a dirt-resistant material and sealed off from the clothing. It stands 43 centimetres tall and 30 wide, takes a laptop up to 15.6 inches, and adds a chest clip and heavy-duty grab handles.
What this model is built around
The shoe compartment is the whole argument for this model. Footwear is the one thing in a packed bag that has to be kept apart from everything else, and the usual answer - a plastic bag stuffed down one side - wastes space and fails as soon as it tears. A dedicated compartment with a wipe-clean lining, sealed from the main space, solves it properly and keeps gym kit or hiking boots out of the clothing.
The compression system is the same one used across the compression models: a vacuum bag with a check valve that holds the seal once the hand pump stops. The valve is the part that fails if it is closed on a fold of fabric, which is the mistake that breaks a seal on first use.

- One-click chest clip stops the load swinging on a long walk
- Check-valve vacuum bag that holds the seal once the pump stops
- Heavy-duty grab handles for lifting it into an overhead bin

What it holds, and what it does not
The carry hardware is built for a loaded bag rather than a light one. A one-click chest clip stops the load swinging on a long walk, which is what turns a heavy pack from tiring into painful, and the cushioned foam back panel keeps the load off the spine. Heavy-duty grab handles are there for the moment the bag goes up into an overhead bin, which is where a weak handle usually gives out.
The honest cost is volume. A sealed shoe compartment occupies its space whether or not there are shoes in it, so a traveller who never uses it is carrying a bag that holds less than its outside dimensions suggest.
Who it suits
Choose it if
Trips where shoes, gym kit or hiking boots travel with the clothes and need to stay apart from them.
Look elsewhere if
Anyone who will never use the shoe compartment — it takes volume whether it is filled or not.
Against the other models
Choose this one when shoes, boots or gym kit travel with the clothes. Choose the 40-litre model when raw capacity matters more, or the 18 by 14 by 8 model when the bag has to clear a personal-item sizer. The compression system itself is identical across all three.
Every model, side by side, is on the home page, and the mechanics behind these specifications are in the reference guides.
Vacuum Backpack, Khaki FAQ
How big is the shoe compartment?
It is a separate sealed compartment with a dirt-resistant lining, positioned underneath the main space. The manufacturer does not publish a volume for it.
Does the shoe compartment reduce the packing space?
Yes. It takes its volume whether it is filled or not, which is the trade-off for keeping footwear away from the clothing.
How does the check valve work?
The hand pump draws air out through it and the valve holds the seal once the pumping stops. Closing it on a fold of fabric is what breaks the seal, and it is the most common first-use mistake.
What is the chest clip for?
It stops a loaded bag swinging on a long walk, which is what makes weight tiring rather than the weight itself.
What size laptop fits?
Up to 15.6 inches, the same as the rest of the models shown here.
