# VGCUB Backpacks

VGCUB makes six backpacks. Four include a built-in vacuum compression system: clothing is sealed in a bag inside its own compartment and a hand pump draws the air out through a check valve, cutting the volume of bulky items by more than half. Compression reduces volume only — it does not reduce weight, and it does almost nothing for dense items such as jeans, books or shoes. Capacities run from 24 to 40 litres. Every model has a padded laptop compartment sized to 15.6 inches; no model takes a 17-inch machine. Nothing in the range is waterproof — the fabric is water-resistant, covering rain and spills but not submersion. Nothing exceeds 40 litres, because larger bags stop clearing cabin allowances.
